About Low-tox Living

This site exists for people who care about what they bring into their homes and bodies — and who are tired of choosing between dismissive debunking and fear-driven marketing. We read the actual research behind popular low-tox ideas and tell you, plainly and kindly, what's worth your effort.

Our promise: no alarmism, no absolutism, no miracle products. Every factual claim links to a source, and every article ends with a practical, proportionate verdict.

How we grade evidence

Before a word of an article is written, every claim we plan to make is checked against the research and weighed on a four-level scale — from solid, repeated, high-quality evidence down to community tradition without study support. That grading happens behind the scenes, in our research and review process, not on the page: what reaches you is the conclusion, written plainly, with the confidence behind it carried in the words we choose rather than a badge.

Every factual claim links to a source, and every article ends with a Sourceslist — a plain-language note on what each source is and found, so you can check our work without wading through it.

When we don't know, we say so — "nobody has studied this well yet" is a finding, not a failure.

Articles here are careful readings of published evidence, not medical advice. For personal health decisions, please talk to a professional who knows you.
